What is conductive gel?

Conductive gel is a viscous gel used for treatments that require conductivity. It is especially used for treatments using techniques such as ultrasound, photo depilation, laser, electrotherapy, ultrasound and passive gymnastics. Ideal for devices that require contact gel.

Conductive gel or Ultrasound gel is a dense, water-based, colourless, and odourless gel that does not irritate the skin. Conductivity aid for ultrasound treatments such as ultrasound cellulite treatments. Conductive gel is only suitable for use during treatment. It is cool to apply and prevents skin irritation or burns that may be caused by the process.

Medium viscosity, it is an excellent conductive gel for use in diagnostic testing and ultrasound therapy as well as other external procedures requiring a dense medium. Formula with excellent lubricating and sliding qualities, creating a surface evenness to facilitate probe sliding. Spreads evenly without sagging, is easy and quick to clean. It is non-greasy, non-irritating to the skin, water-soluble and easy to remove. Alcohol and perfume free. It does not contain abrasive and/or conductive substances that may damage the transducer ultrasound devices for aesthetics. The type of packaging prevents the gel from drying out. Recommended for cellulite treatments with ultrasound.

How is ultrasound conductive gel used?

• Remove all hair from the area to be treated with razor blades.
• Apply a thin layer of contact gel to the body area.
• Carry out the treatment following the corresponding safety measures.
• Remove any remaining ultrasound gel with a disposable towel or 2-ply paper.
